Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel's servers record technical data: your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, your browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Visitor statistics

Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel counts page views without cookies, so I can see which pages are read (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics and Google Ads. The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. They set cookies and record which pages you visit, which links and buttons you click, and whether you came from one of my ads. I use this to see which pages and ads work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in measuring the site and my advertising). Data can be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Fonts

All fonts are stored on this site. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Email and WhatsApp

If you write to hello@tehseenahmed.com, I use your message and address to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about work, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f)). My mailbox is hosted by Spaceship, Inc. (Spacemail) in the USA, under standard contractual clauses. I keep emails as long as needed for our conversation, and longer only where German tax law requires me to keep records. If you message me on WhatsApp, WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own privacy policy.

Booking a call

The "Book a call" buttons open Calendly, run by Calendly LLC, USA, in a new tab. What you enter there is processed by Calendly under its own privacy notice, and I receive your booking details to hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calendly is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Program signup forms

On the pages under /programs, the forms ask for your name, email, WhatsApp number and location, and depending on the page your role, company or university, who pays, your child's grade, team size and a message. I use this to contact you about the program you chose (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form reaches me as an email in my Spacemail mailbox. I delete signups that don't lead to a booking after 12 months.

Spam protection. When you start filling a program form, the page loads Google reCAPTCHA v3 from Google Ireland Limited. It checks how the page is used to tell people from bots and sends that data to Google (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in keeping the forms free of spam).

Links to other sites

Links to WhatsApp and LinkedIn are plain links. Nothing is sent to Meta or LinkedIn until you click them; after that, their own privacy notices apply.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Write to hello@tehseenahmed.com.
